Subject	2009 Monterey Historics... or why did I take so many pics..?

Message	Pictures from this years Monterey Historics held once again at Laguna Seca. The good news is that I had 2 full days at the track... the bad news is that the Monterey Historics as we know it... will be changing... and maybe not in a good way. It seems General Racing ( the group that started this event 36 yrs ago ) and SCAMP... ( the Sports Car Racing Association of Monterey Peninsula ) the folks who operate Laguna Seca... could not come to terms on a new agreement for the use of Laguna Seca and General Racing will be holding a new event at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA... while the SCAMP folks will hold their own event at Laguna Seca. You can read about it here. So time will tell... I just may have to go to the events at Infineon and Laguna Seca just to see... :) The other bad news is that after some 2000 pictures ( over 1500 on day 1 alone ) taken that weekend... the camera decided to stop working before the last 2 races on Sunday!?!?!? I was grateful I took pics of those run groups during their warm ups. Hopefully I'll have it back in time for ZCon. So after sorting through the numerous pics I decided on editing and posting these 280 + pics... It made sense at the time... :) I divided the pics into multiple posts... paddock, 2 for sports cars, and 2 more for race cars. Enjoy.
